GLOBAL HR SERVICES is looking for a Chief Accountant for one of our clients.

The main goal is the coordination of a team of accountants, in order to achieve the financial and fiscal objectives of the organization.

The role is on-site in Floreasca area, District 1.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience specific to the position of Chief Accountant;
  • Accounting and/or Finance Studies;
  • Experience working with SAP;
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles, tax legislation and operational processes;
  • Good organizational and communication skills, accuracy and attention to details;
  • Experience in leading an accounting team;
  • Advanced English skills.

Main responsibilities:

  • Organize, lead and control the company’s financial-accounting activity in accordance with the legal provisions in force;
  • Organize and coordinate all aspects of accounting such as fixed assets accounting, inventory accounting, third-party accounting, billing, treasury accounting, expense, income and result accounting, commitment and other asset accounting, management accounting;
  • Supervise the billing process to ensure that sales conditions from the contracts with customers are executed accordingly (both for the sales contracts and for the rent contracts);
  • Organize and coordinate the stock accounting of goods received, sales and rent contracts
  • Organize and coordinate preventive financial control;
  • Responsible for reconciliation and closing of accounts;
  • Responsible for the preparation of the trial balance and monthly management reports (P&L, BS, disclosure notes);
  • Ensure tax compliance and reporting;
  • Ensure communication with public authorities such as ANAF, DITL, INS, BNR;
  • Provides support to the auditors of the company;
  • Perform financial and accounting analysis based on the balance sheet accounts.
