Hi 🙂 We are looking for an experienced BI Specialist for one of our clients, a start-up company from the ︁online gambling industry.
Skills and experience:
- Strong ability to analyze the needs of the business and to communicate them to management and development teams.
- Degree in a quantitative background such as Mathematics/Statistics, Finance, Economics or Engineering
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Strong written and oral communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Initiative to work independently, but also able to work effectively with team members in different locations.
- Flexibility and adaptability to business requirements and priority changes.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableu, Redash, etc.
Main responsibilities:
- Understand the data that is available for use by departments and how to make efficient use of that data.
- Responsible for creating, maintaining and updating various forecasts for the company, to be shared at the executive and board level.
- Segmentation analysis on internal customer data.
- Training other BI members on forecasting and segmentation work.
- Use quantitative analysis to analyze data and make business decisions.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency through technical solution.
- Evaluate outside market versus clients and advice where to invest resources in order to maximize competitiveness for our clients.
- Handle requests from head of department for evaluation of business, commission structures, reporting etc.
- Help department managers with projections and other basic modelling tasks, such as projecting profits, system load, line changes, number of signups, etc.
- Identify cost saving opportunities across the business. Study other companies in the industry.
- Build automated, interactive reporting for management and shareholders.
Carry out analyses to determine the successfulness of promotions run by the clients’ CRM and Marketing team before and after.
